AngstromLap 16um Silicon Carbide Lapping Film, 9x11" Sheet with 3mil Backing, package of 100 sheets.
ÅngströmLap Silicon Carbide Lapping Film is a more aggressive abrasive film material, often recommended over Aluminum Oxide Lapping Film for epoxy and glass removal. It is not commonly used for the later steps in the fiber optic polishing process. It produces an excellent surface finish and can help reduce overall polishing process time. The 9" x 11" film sheets are typically used for hand polishing.
